SUMMER 2016 –

In August, 2016, Canadian Rep Theatre launched a major new initiative, ENSEMBLE Canadian Youth Theatre/Théâtre Jeunesse Canadien.  This performance, training and mentorship pilot project  featured 22 recent graduates from professional theatre training programs, including Ryerson University, George Brown College, Humber College, York University, National Theatre School of Canada and The Drama Centre, University of Toronto.

ENSEMBLE Canadian Youth Theatre/Théâtre Jeunesse Canadien presented two projects: DREAMS (RÊVES) by Wajdi Mouawad (translated by Linda Gaboriau) and an ensemble adaptation of TOUGH! by George F. Walker.  Both productions are directed by Artistic Director Ken Gass.  

DREAMS (RÊVES) and TOUGH! performed in repertory at The Citadel (home of Coleman, Lemieux & C0.) at 304 Parliament Street in Toronto from August 9 to August 20th.

Following the summer season,  ENSEMBLE Canadian Youth Theatre/Théâtre Jeunesse Canadien presented TIDELINE by Wajdi Mouawad (translated by Shelley Tepperman) directed by Ken Gass as the opening show of the Hart House Theatre season in Toronto.  www.harthousetheatre.ca
